All Residents of US need a Valid Passport & a Visa to Visit Brazil for any purposes. Visa cannot be obtained upon arrival in Brazil ; and has to be applied while in US.
U.S. residents’ travelers must fill out an immigration form on arrival in Brazil that will be stamped and handed back by immigration officials at the airport. It is important to retain this form to hand back to immigration officials upon exit from the country.
Portuguese is the official language of Federal Republic of Brazil. Brazilian Real is the official currency of Brazil.
