India Is the worlds’ Largest democracy with a population of 1.2 billion people. India is rich in history and culture with its foggy hill stations, captivating beaches, historical monuments, golden deserts, serene backwaters, pilgrimage sites, rich wildlife, and colorful fairs capture the heart of every visitor to India.

All US Citizens require a Visa to travel to India. US Citizens holding dual nationality MUST apply with their US Passports.

Non-US citizens should also provide proof of legality of their stay in the USA (US Resident Card, Green Card or any Long Term Stay Visa) when applying for a visa.

Previous Indian Citizens must provide proof of RENUNCIATION(surrender of their Indian citizenship).Please refer to the “Indian Origin Applicants” tab in the panel on the right after you click on Tourist or Business Visa tab below, or at https://traversalvisa.com/indian-origin-applicants/. It’s very important that you have read and understand the renunciation (Surrender of Indian Citizenship) rules if you do not have your Renunciation Certificate already.

Normal Processing time for an India Visa is 8 to 10 calendar days. Consulate/Embassy officials may extend the processing times of the visa application solely at their discretion.
